It is a good game, but it does not support widescreen, what a pity.

I used Hex Edit to look for game.exe, but I could not find the values of resolution.

Is there any way to get it to play at a widescreen resolution like 1440X900?

Thank you for any help, I would really appreciate it. :)

Use the XVI32 tutorial I made in the following thread:

http://widescreengamingforum.com/node/8483

Use the following file ( Chaos Legion v1.0 [ENGLISH] No-CD/Fixed EXE ) that can be found here:

http://m0006.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc_chaos_legion.shtml

Look for ASCII 640x480x32 and you will end up here:

Change 640x480 to whatever you like and give it a try.

This game probably stretches in all non-4:3 resolutions. The above method lets you run it at any resolution, but the FOV is unchanged...
:arrow:WS FAQ: Screen Change (scroll down for "stretch")

Hello, I am newbie, anything, sorry. I looked at the examples of the link and saw that the "Chaos Legion" fits in like "Stretch," considered the worst, but I do not know if it is the same case but "Prince of Persia Warrior Within" when checked with a widescreen resolution "Universal Widescreen Patcher", there is a cut in the health bar, both at 16:10 and in 16:9 resolutions, I wonder if it's the same case and how can I do this (although the health bar simply will disappear)

I apologize for my bad english

Changing the FOV wouldn't do anything for the stretching. You would need to try and find the game's 4:3 aspect ratio somewhere and try and overwrite it.

You could look for the aspect ratio in the game's files with a hex editor or you could try looking for the aspect ratio in the running process with something like MHS.

Even if you did find the aspect ratio there is no guarantee that overwriting would actually do anything.

I searched for a solution for "Sonic Adventure DX" and found here in the forum, had used the "UniPatcher" and the result was a loss of image at the bottom of the FOV, preventing to see the amount of lives and legends text, if applicable something similar in "Chaos Legion," doing a little cutting the top (not sure if this is possible) and the rest of the bottom of the FOV could be a good solution for 16:10 resolutions. Hope that helps.
