It should just work. I use Windows 7 x64 and it works here.
I've been trying to get it to enable in CoD4 with no luck. What do I have to do to enable the aspect change? I have it set to the right patch and am running it in administrator mode.

For MP/SP? There's two choices for SP, one covers 1.2-1.7, and the other covers specific versions. (There was a difference between the Steam and retail versions).

For MP, choose the one labeled Safe.

Dope, I am also using W7 x64 and it doesn't work for me. Did you run the installer in any special compatibility modes? I did it in compatibility for XP SP2.

Do changes need to be made to support Battlefield 2's v1.5 update?

v1.5 does support 16x9 and 16x10 correctly but no other ARs.
Also the HUD is stretched.

I'll be working on a fix for 1.5.

Thanks! A 1.5 BF2 version of the Widescreen Fixer would be AWESOME.

The new patch screwed so many things up...

Thanks dopefish.
I didn't have much opportunity to test your fixer before 1.5, but should it take care of the stretched HUD?

No.

I haven't been able to fix the HUD stretching. It's something that could only be done internally probably.

However, when I do the FOV fix for 1.5, I'll look into seeing what can be done about the HUD again.

Widescreen Fixer v1.55.0 has been released.

Changes:
* I have not had EB test this version. Use at your own risk.
* Cleaned up code internally
* Removed old game versions from the list in an effort to clean it up. If you use the old versions of games, you can use an older version of this application since the code for the old version of the game has not changed.
* Added support for Battlefield 2 v1.50

Official site here:
http://imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/

Donations appreciated.

Enjoy. :)
