==Game Information==
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter shows you the future of military science, today. In 2013, the U.S. Army will implement the Integrated Warfighter System -- combining advanced weapon systems, satellite Communication devices and enhanced survivability into one fully integrated combat system. The first to test this new system on the battlefield are the Ghosts, as they face an insurgence in the heart of Mexico City.
This is a very fun game if you are a fan of the Ghost Recon series and like realism. However, it can be frustratingly hard at times because of the checkpoint save system and the AI can be incredibly stupid at times. The game looks really good, especially the explosions and physics, luckily I have a good enough rig to run it smoothly at 1680x1050 w/everything maxed out and 8xAF. My only complaint about the graphics is that there is no real anti-aliasing. The screenshots don't do it justice since they are compressed and came out darker.
==Version==
I have tested everything on the 1.35 patch, the most recent one when I tested. However, the game has supported widescreen since its release.
==Method==
The game supports widescreen natively.
==Screen change==
When using any widescreen resolution, the game is
Horizontal +. The FOV adjusts apropriately (I have the aspect ratio setting on "Auto").

==Supported resolutions==
On my 640MB 8800GTS with 22" 1680x1050 LCD the following widescreen resolutions appear in the video settings menu:
1280x720 (16:9)
1280x768 (15:9)
1280x800 (16:10)
1440x900 (16:10)
1600x900 (16:9)
1680x1050 (16:10)
These are all the widescreen resolutions supported by my desktop.
1920x1200 (16:10)
Not tested myself, but a friend runs at this resolution, so it is supported

==Singleplayer anomalies==
After beating the entire game there are no major anomalies during the campaign except for the following, though they are VERY minor.
The in-game map adjusts in a weird way.
The outer frame and buttons maintain the proper size and proportions in widescreen. However, the 3D map area is Hor+ and compresses horizontally at the same time.

The pre-mission inventory screen also adjusts in a strange way. Note how the gun is more compressed horizontally in the two widescreens. Also the weapon sizes scale completely differently and the weapon tabs at the bottom stretch only for 16:10 and not 16:9.

==Multiplayer support==
The screen changes are the same as singleplayer.
==Aspect ratio support==
See the screenshots above, the game properly distinguishes between 16:9 and 16:10, the 16:9 has more pixels on the sides.
==HUD stretch==
The HUD stretches. (see gameplay screenshots above)
==Cut-scenes==
There are no cutscenes in the game, everthing is seen through the eyes of the character. Your commanders give you orders through the small screen on the top right of the HUD (see gameplay screenshots above).
In case you wanted to know I have included menu screenshots, they are stretch:
