rFactor is available as a digital download from the developer's website (it is a self-published game).

hmm... link doesn't work JKeffe, I tried the rFactor website a few days ago when I was looking to buy the game, site didn't work then either. Their webserver must be as reliable as mine :(

Works fine for me.. and I just tried it again. Perhaps the problem is on your end?

Sorry you're having difficulty, but I felt the need to clarify the statement that the only place rFactor was "in-stock" was on Ebay.

Maybe you are used to the stretched view of other games.

Whilst this shows great support for the TH users and it is great for those that like it ... I too prefer it without the "bent walls" ... :? ... it just doesn't seem/feel natural.
There was a combat flight sim (can't remember it's name) that did something like this too ... it looked very odd to me.

It's not a "mod". It's a customizable feature of the game that was added in a patch by the developers.

TechnicalEcstasy and Paddy - out of curiosity, what are your side monitor angles?

I don't know I've not measured them ... but I know what you are getting at ... it does look better if you get the angles right ...
I still prefer the "stretched" look ... :?

I'm not asking you to measure - just take a guess. :)

10 degrees? 45 degrees? I'm just trying to get an idea of how sharp of an angle people are using.
