Hi, :welcome . Let's see if I can help answer some of your questions:
1. Well, that monitor has an 8ms response time (basically a measurment of "Ghosting") and that's pretty good. You shouldn't run into no major problems with gaming... and the
Master Games List can help you lookup games to see if they can run in widescreen.
2. Most games that are widescreen compatible can run 16:9 resolutions like 1280x720, although the monitor's native resolution that you're getting (1366x768) is 16:9 but is a less popular resolution. If you use our games list you should be able to figure out how to get games running in that resolution and shouldn't be much of a problem. Oh, and you can look up Doom 3 on the master games list to get it running in widescreen also :)
3. A PVA screen is one of the best screen types, and should have very good blacks. My 24" monitor uses an MVA panel and has great black colours. You won't be dissapointed with the image quality.
-Hope I helped some!
