Ok, i just got a ASUS 22" Widescreen LCD with a native res of 1680x1050.

now, in Widescreen games (ie, WoW) it works great (obviously)

now, i am not able to get it to display a 4:3 image...

at the moment, im trying to get Warcraft 3 working.

i have a 7600GT video card with the latest NVIDIA Drivers (93.71).

When i go into the control panel and NVIEW DISPLAY SETTINGS there is no option to change to FIXED ASPECT RATIO or anything like that...

any ideas how to get it working??? i will want it runing @ 1280x1024 if that makes any difference...

Go to your Nvidia properties. Then screen resolutions and refresh rates.
Here select the resolution you want. Now if you have selected the resolution nad it has black borders, you need to do the following. Prss advenced (or something like that). Normally you can select stretch now. If that doesnt work, you see active front and active back. The number in active back should be the same as in active front. The same for vertical lines.

Ex. Active front = 1280 then active back should also be 1280. (Now it stretches the screen).

Then press ok.

This should work.

I'm sorry if the menu's have other names, I'm from belgium so i use the dutch nvidie drivers. Smile
