I am new to all of this so some of my questions may seem stupid. I just bought a Dell 2005FPW (1980 X 1050 - 16:10 aspect). What do I have to do to get call of duty 2 to run at that native resolution? The in game settings do not support it.

[maherie mod edit] - Lets stick this in the right place. The solutions is only for confirmed solutions.

Well, the first thing is to use the "Quick Search" function to the left.

A search for "Call of Duty 2" reveals these four hits. Out of those, this one in particular, says that CoD2 has native support starting at 1600x900. So, your 1680x1050 should be there.

If it's not, then start a thread in the solutions discussion (I've moved this thread there) asking for help.

PS - Please don't double post. One request is enough.

Hi The monitor you bouight runs at 1680 x 1050, not 1980 x 1050.

I've never played COD 2 but I'm sure someone will have an answer for you shortly.

lol ... did you look at your graphics settings? I just closed COD 2 after doing this. No hacking required. Do this:

Options / Graphics / Video Mode:

Supported:
640*480
720*480
720*576
800*600
848*480
1024*768
1152*864
1280*720
1280*768
1280*960
1280*1024
1360*768
1360*1024
1440*900
1600*1200
1680*1050
1792*1344
1800*1440
1856*1392
1920*1080
1920*1200
1920*1440
2048*1536

And two settings down from "Video Mode" is "Aspect Ratio". By default, it's set to auto. But you can set it to 16:10, 16:9, or 4:3.

Hope this helps. There's no crack needed. And if you need a crack then I don't know WHAT copy you're running lol.
