The WSGF's games list has tons of games that "support" 21:9. That said, very few of them actually support 21:9. I recently purchased the LG 29um68-P, and I was super excited about getting into ultrawide gaming, especially since there seemed to be a plethora of supported games. That said, the majority of games on the list don't actually support 21:9. What I classify as "21:9 support" is giving the player a larger FOV. Most games don't do this. BF4, Payday 2, Doom, and many other games I've tested just fill in the screen by stretching the sides.

This stretching causes a noticeable fish-eye effect, which is not nice to look at. It sucks that so few games actually support 21:9, and I may end up returning my monitor, and going back to 16:9 because this issue is so annoying. It's weird to me that the games list classifies games like these as ultrawide optimized.

Hi,
You mean this list?
http://www.wsgf.org/mgl/uws
There are 4 Grading options.
A: Golden, Works Nativ flawless
B: Silber, minor Bugs, like stretched Hud.
C: Cooper, huge Bugs.
Unplayable: Black Bars or similar.

Sadly Payday 2 does Not yet have a Detailed Report.

But for BattleField4 it states Golden 21:9 Support, and if you look at the Screenshots there you can see a clear Hor+ behaviour from 16:9 to 21:9.

Doom is a perfect example for a Silver Grading.

You still have a good Hor+ Picture but as you can read in the description there are minor blemishes with the weapon.

If your computer does not behave the same as in the Detailed Reports then there seems to be something wrong.

Maybe if you could provide a few Screenshots of the games you mention in your Native 21:9 resolution and then in 16:9 we could see what kind of problem you have.

Also, do you play games in the same resolution as your desktop resolution? This often can cause problems if they are not the same.
