Wow, this game is so fantastic in triple-wide. The massive increased fov rectifies many of the shortcomings related to the games camera, letting the action absolutely sparkle. Let me try and help you guys out with what worked for me.
Previously I recommended the camera speed be dialed up to the max for horizontal, but with the increased fov in triple wide, i've slowed the speed to the lowest setting. Smooths things out and helps with zangeki. "map centered" camera option is a must.
I run i7-3770 @4.5ghz GTX 690 recent drivers (332.21, haven't updated to the latest yet) 8 gb ram, SSD
I am running the latest steam version of MGR. In game, I select 1920x1080, 16:9, Fullscreen. I run all ingame options at max except MSAA must be x4 (or less). If I jump up to x8, my fps plummets from rock solid to single digits with 99% gpu usage on each gpu!! I've never seen that in any other game. (VRAM cap maybe, or optimization?) I run nvidia inspector SLI profile, but it is not necessary (seems to eliminate microstutter for me). I run flawless widescreen (thx Hayden) and run the game, alt tab in and out as Hayden states.
I get rock solid 50fps (remember MGR has weird porting issues. In HDMI, it caps refresh at 50hz in fullscreen. In windowed mode, I get 60fps rock solid, but it's not triple wide fov).
Key tips I've found: If my desktop resolution is not set to 5888x1080p (bezel corrected), the fix doesn't work. If I select any other resolution in game, I get a black screen on all monitors, but can hear the game in the background. If my ingame grfx settings are too high (MSAA), it's a no go.
Good luck. Lemme know if I can help further. It's worth the effort, this ones a world beater.
