Hey all, I currently have my triple monitor setup with another monitor on the side for browsing and etc. I plan on getting a 3DTV soon to be my main 2nd display for single screen 3D gaming/browsing and was wondering if I bought another graphics card, can I just plug in my current 2nd display into it and have 5 screens going at once (having a perfectly good monitor just laying around sounds wasteful)? Just thought I would come here and ask before I invest on another card just to test it out. I hope I am making sense.

Thanks.

This is working with my setup (HD5770 Flex + GTX260). The setup is something strange, but it works. I have Eyfinity 3/1/1 with Windows 7 with four 24'' TFTs and one 40'' Full HD TV.

Thanks for replying. That is really interesting that you have an ati card and a nvidia card with no problems. I suppose this should work for me as well then. Thanks!

I wouldn't suggest it, because it becomes problematic in most cases. Stay brand specific when mixing cards.

Oh definitely, I was just commenting on how he actually got it to work with two different company cards. I will probably just get another cheap nvidia card and test it out. Thanks.
