Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime - is the game any good?

Big fan of the ghostbusters series, supports widescreen?... on the fence about buying, looks a bit simple and teh screenshots seem to be 4:3 (bit scary)

http://store.steampowered.com/app/9990/

Has a demo link, but clicking it seems to do nothing.

I tried the first one on PC a long while back but the horrid controls kept me from playing it any further. I do believe it suffers a lot from consolitis but others can correct me if I am wrong in that dept. While it's refreshing and entertaining to play the game again, it's also very lacking in quality on PC. Limited options and I don't think I was able to adjust the mouse sensitivity on the game. Visually it looks great but... well, one has to look at the devs and the quality of their "PC port" to see how much they care and how much effort is placed into making it.

If the 2nd one is going to be the same, it's sad to say that I am not going to bother, not until the devs get their heads out of their asses and start doing some real coding.

The first one was a really bad port. Really bad. Will not touch this one until it's about 50p...

Very different game this time around, but user feedback of the X360 demo doesn't sound too good anyway:
-both gameplay and graphics frequently deemed 'meh' (and again, on a console)
-4 characters all the time i.e 3 AI with you all the time when playing alone
-"new ghostbuster crew" = not even a tribute to the films
-no online co-op on PC

In a nutshell: got 3 friends ? Grab Alien Swarm instead... and wait for the demo link to be fixed.

And sure enough... http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/03/24/ghostbusters-sanctum-of-slime-review-pc/
Here’s my verdict on Sanctum of Slime. I played it so you didn’t have to.

Gave it a whirl before I'm off to work... it's indeed quite bland and the allied AI is braindead. No graphical options whatsoever. Widescreen support is a lazy 16:9 anamorphism, even in multi-mon.

Who would've bought this without a demo ? Who would buy this now that there's one ? :|
