I just switched from 2 5870's in crossfire/eyefinity on three Dell 2410's to a pair of GTX 470's and its really a polished product, cudo's the the green boys. I realise both companies have their ups and downs and while the ATI setup worked well for the past nine months the never ending niggles with every driver release caused me to look elsewhere.....and Im glad I did. Just thought Id put this up in case someone else was on the fence like I was.

I'm still on the fence because of a few things.

Bottlenecking the 1GB of VRAM when at 7680x1600.
HEAT, as my room is consistently hot now with my monitors and only 1 5870.
The fact I'd have to get hacked drivers to run SLI (my board isn't natively SLI'able)

I also switched too, tri-5870 to sli-480gtx. No more crashes since changing. No more ati purchases from now on for me.
