A while back I revamped my all trusted heavy duty desk with a new hardwood plate and a suspended computer mount. That project can see seen here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showth ... t=18566378
Then last month I found out my local timber yard had a large amount of hardwood shelves on must go away sale from the same manufacturer where I bought my desktop. I decided to build a monitor platform to raise the monitors a bit and gain some more space to put away the mouse, keyboard and other stuff.
I made a sketch to make sure the monitors would line up nicely in the joints of the platform. (I'm making a program or spreadsheet later, where you can just put in the dimensions of your monitors and choose between some design options and it will return the sketches and measurements you need for making one yourself.)
