Game renders decently & remembers borderless perfectly. But has a few issues, none a problem. (PLP screenshot with bezel effect) 1. Start with fullscreen in-game, settings how you want. Then switch to windowed & quit. 2. SoftTH (base PLP resolution, DX9 x86). 3. Edit %LOCALAPPDATA%\LucasArts\Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2\config.xml. A. Set PlayMovies to No (required, disables all loading screens). B. Win.Height & Win.Width: base PLP resolution. C. Win.Left & Win.Top your negative offset (with border, & likely right&down 1px). 4. Play game (it's borderless). Game remembers. 5. NoMousy utility required, but wait until game menu (triggering early may cause a spread problem, tester is unsure *). NOTES: 2. Rendered video is vert-, loading screens are gone, & maybe the rare abend. 3. FPS bit low. Recommend all these Off: Motion Blur, High Detail Texture, DOF. Resulting FPS looks smooth, & graphics still look good. 4. Menus are vert- (cropped bottom), but not a big deal. Details: A. Disallows use of these two unnecessary menus: SCREEN (it's sparse), & CHALLENGES (for practice & related leaderboard. Requires single-screen). B. Menus that work, using hidden buttons: i. SELECT LEVEL: Enter/btnA=Start, Tab/btnX=Continue, Esc/btnB=Back. ii. SELECT SAVE SLOT: Enter/btnA=Load, Tab/btnX=Delete, Esc/btnB=Back. C. FORCE POWERS menu works, but can't Toggle Details (shows keys for special moves). D. All the rest: Esc/btnB=Back (saves changes). Use Enter for LOGIN page. 5. * If slight border appears, fix: delete SoftTH & config.xml, then redo method. 6. MSI Afterburner abends the spread game (& maybe other similar software). (odd screen offset was not seen in-game, likely caused by screen capture method) View guide for general help with the instructions. |
