Nice fair take on the unfare advantage topic.
I do hate even going down this path of an unfair advantage with multi monitor setups. I personally want the best experience when I play.
If devs start crippling games to try to be fair for everyone we'll be playing at a fixed low resolution so everyone has equal frames per second over a throttled connection speed with limited input configurations.
Sure the best hardware may give an unskilled player a slight advantage in the beginning but we all play at different skill levels on different hardware over different internet connections.
How about play time? should a player that has 1000 hours of playtime not be able to fight someone who just bought the game to be fair? how about fps should <30fps players be grouped because they can't compete users with high end hardware.
If people don't like it don't play on a pc go get an xbox and play on your tv but then hmm that 60" plasma may give you a better view of a person in the distance so that should be banned as well.
It's a slippery slope and I'd hate to see game developers start to limit resolution or hardware advances to try to make the game seem fair in their eyes.
Personally if a game doesn't support triple monitors I do not play them so if Titanfall doesn't fix the hud issue they wont have to worry about me playing their game anyway. I want the immersive gaming experience that only eyefinity can give you or why bother playing.
Just my thoughts
