hi,
i want to know if it's possible to put 3 graphic cards in my computer ? The answer is yes with 3-way-sli or crossfire ! But, in my case, the graphic card is a double-gpu ; the HD4850x2 from Sapphire !

The case & the motherboard i've chosen can recieve the 3 cards.

I know it's useless but it will be very beautiful in my future open-case.

Happy Xmas,
t29

Nope, Crossfire and SLI limits are 4 GPUs, if you have dual GPU cards then you can only connect two of them together to get the 4 GPUs.

ok, it's clear !

This computer rules my 6 displays (6 desktops / not eyefinity in this case) : 3 displays on the 1st card, 3 on the 2nd. If i desactivate crossfire : can i plug 2 displays on each card ?

Remember i make this to have a beautiful case.

When running in crossfire you can only use the ports on one of the cards, however cards not running crossfire between two cards can use there inputs as normal, irrespective of what other inputs are being used on other cards. That make sense, in short if you don't enable crossfire between the cards you should be able to connect 2 monitors to each card without too much problem. What I can't answer is if its possible to enable crossfire on all 3 individual cards, it might be that you can only enable it on one of them.

Without digging into the specs of the cards I can't say for sure, but I'm going to work off the assumption that cards of that age can only output to 2 monitors at a time, in which case your only option is to leave crossfire off, and connect all 3.
