Widescreen Gaming Forum

I have 3 Acer S231HL's right now and wondered if anyone know if these can be modified or how to do it properly. I have searched and I cant find any info. I may take them back and get 3 Asus VE248H though since the bottom bezel on them is flat for portrait setup and they have audio input/output and 2ms gtg.

I know some have removed the covers off their monitors to reveal the metal part that the monitor is actually mounted to which made them look thinner but i am not sure I cna do this to any of these monitors. I dont want to remove the bezels and risk damaging them if it is a pointless effort in the first place. I called Acer and Asus and they are totally worthless when it comes to questions like these. they have no clue what the monitor looks like when the bezels are off and the back is removed.
