hey guys, i was hoping to get some info on what is worth the money as i am getting a mini upgrade. i was thinking of getting the evga killer nic pci express card, and the 5970 or the 5870 if it's majorily impossible to find.

my videocard is an 8800gtx 768mb and is quite old, i think 3 4 yrs old at least.
and i heard some good things on killer nic, but also been told it's not worth the money, for just a slight increase in performance.

Definitely don't get a Killer NIC. It's really really not worth the money.

Wait for the new nVidia stuff... worst thing that happens is you've waited; best case the nVidia cards are amazing and the ATi cards drop in price. :)
