First off, DO NOT RECOMMEND OR SUGGEST ME BUILDING MY OWN PC. I DO NOT WANT TO.

OK, now that was said, which is the best company to buy from? Digital Storm, Maingear, Alienware, Velocity Micro, Stealth Machines or Origin PC?

PS if you do not know any of these companies, Google them. Thanks

My vote goes to Digital Storm. What do you guys think?

Also vote in the poll if you can.

To throw others into the mix...
Falcon North West
Mesh
3XS...

It might help if you tell us where you are located or even the country you intend purchasing the system from.

You can always buy the seperate parts adn take them to a computer store to have it put together and tested. Some parts website put them together, too.

It's really not so hard.

But, Alienware is the only on I've heard of. But you pay for the name, too.

The last Alienware system I saw a review of was amazing, lights that come on when you open your tower up, very strong performance and of course... massive pricetag.

I would get one, if the technical support is what you are after, but like others have said, you take a big bill of parts and add a fat wedge to it for the case, "workmanship" and warranty/ support.

A few more:
Pudget Custom Computers
IBUYPOWER
CYBERPOWER PC

I can't actually recommend any of these listed in this thread but may I ask why you do not want to build your own?

If you live in US near a microcenter they can build computers and also sell prebuilt from shelf ones.

You should check your yellowpages for local computer shops and look for little ones, they are likely to assemble stuff. I am not sure best buy would.

Google/bing is your friend bud!! Seriously I would research, order the parts, and put it together. I love building pc's, I would help you out just for fun. When that big box of parts gets dropped off from ups its like christmas when you were 5 years old... all of the latest and greatest stuff... man I dont know maybe its just me.

You should do yourself a favor and learn (which isnt hard) its a great thing to be able to do and will save you a boat load of cash. I know thats not the anwser you are looking for but its just my take on it.

I would say alienware but then that's the only one I know of from that list ;)

however if you want an opinion, I couldn't myself go back to NOT building my own computer
I mean ... even alienware doesn't let you have the choice in all parts ...

I wouldn't trade my current very silent case for another less silent one for example ...
For me those companies are for people who :
-don't have the luxury of time
-need support services (since buying parts here & there means relying on yourself for any problem) but then any computer shop should be able to have a look at any computer to try & fix it for a price ...
-don't know exactly what they want in their computer except for a general idea of how much power it should have...
