Greetings,
I'd like to ask for opinions/answers on using a BenQ MP730 DLP projector for PC gaming--specifically auto racing sims. What I'm aiming for is a close-to-actual-size image. So first off I suppose, is this a good idea or a bad one?
Another question: from what I've read it'd be best to mount the projector above and behind, so with this projector (which does not have lens shift or digital keystone correction), is it possible to 'faux mount' it on a movable tall shelf so it's easy to change the projector location, and adjust the projector angle etc. with thin books or things of that nature as a temporary way of mounting it? Having never owned a projector before, it's hard to tell whether I'll like it or not!
From an article I read at ProjectorCentral, lag isn't much of any issue if you're not rescaling the image, but let me know if you think otherwise.
Thanks very much in advance.
PS Here's the link to the MP730:
