Oh nice! I love the E36 M3, that was one of my possible choices instead of the Exige. It has so much tuning potential too! Sounds like you've done a lot of work on it too, ever been tempted by the supercharger kits available for it?

I guess the big difference between the real life tracks and the games is the lack of fear on the games. I managed to lap the 'ring a minute quicker in Forza than in real life (With a car with similar power). There was no worry of crashing and dying - that makes a big difference (Especially on the ring, where there is no run off area, crash, and you will hit the armco!).

Practicing heel and toe in real life isn't really very possible, but I have been practicing rev-matching (using the heel and toe techniques) and it does make for a much smoother ride. I'd love to be able to practice it properly in game though. I'd need to invest in a racing chair setup first (which will be a couple of months off!).

Nice Lotus in that pic! That's the Elise, the Exige is the more extreme version. It's got adjustable suspension as standard, and the aerodymanics have been changed so it gives a LOT of downforce at higher peeds (to make up for it's light weight).

The main cosmetic difference is the roof scoop, and a large grill covering the engine instead of a rear window (and on the Exige S - the supercharged version, the intercooler sits behind the driver, cooled by air from the roof scoop!)

Cayman is sorta like a boxster, but with the porsche boxster hardtop it still wouldn't be the same.

Cayman used to have better engines, different suspension, some different body work etc. They modeled it off the Boxster chassis so it is very stiff since the boxster had to be reinforced because of the convertible aspect. Cayman can beat 911 in some cases with a few mods. So it is more than a hardtop. Little rear pop up spoiler too.

Similarly the Exige looks like the Elise so you could call it a hardtop elise with a supercharger but that is also false. The front splitter was redesigned to create more down force and it is a much more track friendly car, it really is altered from the elise, same with the cayman.

I would love to have a Lotus but practicality in America (having to drive bloody everywhere) with that small trunk size is kinda a pain for light shopping like groceries though probably 4 bags could fit in it, plus crap on floor by passenger seat :P. Not to mention having to fold my 6'4" self into it

Exige is modded for like 100LBs of downforce more than elise.
