Thank you kindly sir, after digging deeper , I have read alot that the 3008 has unacceptable input lag, due to the upscaler, and that the 3007 model did not suffer the same input lag. I am currently in a holding pattern for a 30" replacement,, if at all at this point. I may simply downsize to a 32" LCD with 1080p, and deal with a 19##x 1080 max resolution. I have a DVI to HDMI cable I am going to experiment with today on my 1080p 52" just to get a feel,
