750 watts should be sufficient, but what are the specs? Or the particular model?

it is a no-name power supply and unfortunately I do not have any tech specs. What would be the worst case scenario in case the power supply does not provide sufficient power? Is there any serious danger to damage system components?

Well, yes, worst case scenario of a poor quality PSU is that is goes *pop* and takes the mobo, CPU and most everything else plugged into it down in flames too.

Most likely option is the system will be unstable when fully loaded (might just be in one or two games) if the PSU can't cope.

There should be a sticker on the side of the PSU saying its name and amonxed other things, how much current it allows at 12v.

For a good 750w PSU these days, they can have around 50A at 12v. What does yours say?

Is there a sticker anywhere on it that says something like:

So long as the maker isn't breaking the trade descriptions act and is falsely advertising the PSU them stickers are normally the sign of a good PSU. But yer, ideally its best to make sure you go with a respectable maker for PSU.

http://www.delta.com.tw/product/ps/sps/clone/download/pdf/GPS-750AB%20A%2020081114.pdf

is the PSU.

I think it should be okay, but it all depends on how the rails (the 12v 1, 12v 2 etc) give the power, if they give power like they should (distributed evenly) it should work fine.

@Gilly
You are the BEST Really the Best !!! You found that .pdf i searched many weeks and weeks and weeks
Now a have all the Data´s from my PSU and it´s correct - it should be okay

This PSU must Work only 2-4 Weeks for me, than i´ll Buy a New one like 850W or higher - but when it works with the 750W maybe that PSU will stay his live in my PC

In The Pdf of the PSU i read : Quad 6-Pin PCI-E connectors support Dual Extrem-Edition Graphics card -- That sounds very very good to make 2x Hd 5870 2GB E6 get Work fine

New Edit :

Have buy a Zalman MFC 3 (ZM MFC 3) that shows me the current W from my System

Have Run Benchmarks (Future Mark 3d and Vantage) to look at the MFC 3 my System with one HD 5870 2Gb E6 and 3x24" in Full Hd is in highst -->510W so the is a littlebit air

Have found this one Today:

http://www.hardware-mag.de/artikel/grafikkarten/ati_radeon_hd_5870_crossfire_vs_hd_5970/13/

There is a Crossfire 5870 (but only 1gb a Card) and its under 600W (582.9)

Sorry for not being able to say this in german.

I wouldn't think it is a good idea to buy just a 600w PSU.

PSU's don't like being fully loaded, and don't like being hot. Your first thought of a good 850w PSU would be much better, the PSU has more headroom to cope, and won't be stressed.

PSU faults can be very costly (destroy whole PC in the worst case) so it is always best to spend enough to get a good product.
