Philips Brilliance 200W.

Been some years now, and still going like a charm, outperforming most of the rubble available today :)

Still going strong. I think I got it when I just met my now current wife October 2005 I believe, she had a MAC G5 widescreen thingy, I couldn't let her have the best screen now could I? Married now, so it obviously worked. Chicks digg wide I tells yer.

Why should it make you old? That was my first desktop screen, too - and I had a widescreen long before Dell ever came up with the idea.

As for the 3008 - dude, you can't have bigger. Bigger doesn't exist. At least in terms of res, right now.

You could always buy a 50" HDTV or something. ;)

Shit PS the 2005WFP.... man LOL........ five years ago in widescreen many many games didn't even know about widescreen let alone support it! (quake half life etc excluded) it just makes me feel odd looking back at all the hacks etc etc we needed then... now it's almost in all games (sure not 100% but they are getting there) yeah you a skip where on the wide band wagon before it even occured to many.

I just want more desktop realestate because I'm greedy. 20->24->30->40" - WHXGA 5120 × 3200 please.

Yeah, looking back at the amount of effort needed to get games working when widescreen first launched... mad really. With the exception of some games which need FOV tweaking, most are native now. OK, they're not perfect but it's better than games where you have to go around hex editing or some of the other faffing around.

Apple and Dell were the only two companies that really even bothered with widescreen for ages... and using an Apple screen with a PC at that time meant you couldn't see the BIOS or POST screens... all sort of fun. I still remember Lenovo (IBM) saying they weren't going to make widescreen laptops because "there is no market for it"...

I get first dibs on your 3008 if you get a bigger screen! :D What I'd really like is 1920x1200 TripleHead... pity it ain't gonna happen.

First and still running, BenQ FP202W v2. Had to RMA it a year ago but it's good now. Was thinking about upgrading to a 24" for 1920x1200 but after buying a TV...that'll be on the backburner. :(
