NVidia Surround is not capable of 5 way surround, you would need to use SoftTH or some other third party solution to get it to work.

Thanks for the reply Skid. My plan was to run 5 x 24" monitors Portrait mode. I think 4 should do it, so I changed my post from 5 to 4. On the Nvida Cite, 3 cards = 3 monitors surround, 4th card will run 2 accessories. What that means? With Flight Sim X windows can be undocked, I wonder if the side views could be pulled over to the accessories monitors? Hmmmmm................

"Accessories Monitor" is normally refereed to as an extended monitor, its a display area that is not part of the main desktop display area, its basically a stand alone monitor of a sort. I'm not sure if the 580 can do 3+1 on the SLI cards, it needs SLI to run Surround though, 2way or greater, assuming it is still a 3 monitor limit then 3way SLI for your triple monitor display, then the final card will be able to run two extra monitors, but they won't be part of the main display.

The diagram on the Nvidia cite shows one card used for each monitor, 3 monitors, 3 cards. The forth card is used for accessories, 2 of the DVI ports for each monitor. (5 monitors in total possible. The motherboard I ordered can carry 4 cards. expensive set as one needs 4 cards. All that said, never seen a Nvidia rig run more than 3 monitor surround. The accessory monitors may not be able to run the game, maybe desktop stuff like google, teamspeak etc. I will try it out when the computer gets built within the next 2 weeks. Thanks for the replies.
