Post subject:  nVidia Surround - 3 monitors in two different VGAs

Hello all.

I'm new here and would to know how can I plug 3 monitors on my rig. I have two vgas: GTX570 as main and GT240 as physx. Can I disable physx and plug 2 monitors on GTX 570 and 1 on GT 240? Actually I don't have all 3 monitors, but I'm thinking about buying the other two after I solve this.

I know Matrox Triplehead2go but it is too expensive for me.

Tks to all.

Post subject:  No,you'll need a second 570

No,you'll need a second 570 to run in sli. 2 monitors on first card & 1 on second. You can still use 240 as physx card if your mobo allows 3 cards. On the nvidia site it shows you how. Make sure you get matching brands, models, etc. I tried the mismatch game & it didn't work properly. Once working it is bliss...

I think MW2 and myself read your post as 2 different brands of the one card . I also have 2 different brands of 480's and they work fine . But to re-inforce what Sir Biscuit is saying , SLi needs 2 of the same card .
