Nope, need 120Hz monitors and their glasses etc. The reason is to reduce flickering caused by the glasses covering each eye in turn.

yes and no

no you can't have the newest 3D technology which doesn't alter colors & is fine on the eyes
however yes you could make it work by tweaks to get back the old colored (Red/Cyan and others) glasses way of doing it ...


Bottom line, get a 120Hz panel, the other solution isn't worth it ...
if you don't mind a 22", the samsung 2233RZ is pretty good
