There's no question the beta works with surround, but only on 32 bit OS'.

...a 32-bit Vista/7 to be more specific: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-257.15-beta.html
*Note: The following SLI features are only supported on Windows Vista and Windows 7: Quad SLI technology using GeForce 9800 GX2 or GeForce GTX 295, 3-way SLI technology, Hybrid SLI, and SLI multi-monitor support.
I was considering giving these drivers a whirl in XP and only just realized it would've been a complete waste of time

If Nv Surround is never to be implemented in XP drivers (like Quad-SLI), it'll be a huge bummer for me and my multi-booting habits :(

I think Nv Surround is W7 only.

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit

Luckily, things such as the Matrox TH2Go have less issues under WinXP than they do under Win7...

I'm looking forward to nvidia surround for the DX10/DX11 surround support. My TH2Go causes Crysis to crash for example. Far Cry 2 works fine though... but I have had Crysis working on 3 monitors before using SoftTH, hence why I blame the strange refresh rate you're forced to use to get the TH2Go to work :(

I'm not sure if I should blame Crysis itself though, or the refresh rate. I mean, if the TH2Go works with DX10 in other games, then maybe it's just Crysis being it's badly programmed self. I really need to try some other DX10 games at some point.

And no, the mview box doesn't fix the 60hz issue. Still no 60hz support in Win7. So considering the ease of use of the Matrox box, I prefer it. Just another experiment that failed I guess :( I haven't heard from the mview people for ages.

Well according to these users at nvidia forums (running the leaked 32 bits drivers) 3-way SLI works on surround, 1 GPU per monitor / projector, thats some amazing news. :rockout

And here too - http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?s=1db65f955c85a1e58d9160859e520459&p=1035787745&postcount=20

Additionally, the configurator INSISTED I connect one monitor to each card, and I verified each GPU's usage through EVGA's precision.

Saw this on [H], but not the one in Nvidia forums. Very good! BHawthorne is one of our insiders and I have no reason to doubt his findings. :D

Here's his post at EVGA:
