Hello dylan, :welcome

Can you start by telling us what model your HP laptop is?
If it has a DisplayPort 1.2 output connector, given that it is an AMD APU range the chances are good, then you can look at using a DisplayPort1.2 MST Hub - WSGF Review of Club3D MST Hubs.

With the use of one of these, you can connect up to 4 external displays to the laptop through a single DP1.2 output and you may use the various Eyefinity configuration options available.

Shame, it would appear the only video output is a HDMI port.
Given this limitation you could achieve what you are seeking with a Matrox Triple Head 2 Go

This would allow you to run a HDMI > DVI cable from laptop to the Matrox TH2G, then DVI to each of your 2 or 3 external monitors.

Note that unlike the MST hubs which have a bandwidth of near 20Gbit/s the Matrox TH2G is limited by the bandwidth of a single DVI port which has just 7.92GBit/s which limits the resolutions and refresh rates you may use for 3 displays.

I should add that you should expect frame-rates to drop as you increase in resolution.
Also as you increase in resolution, more V-RAM will be required by the GPU, if the V-RAM is limited then you will hit a performance wall.

With that sad, good luck! :)
