I've not noticed this beforehand as I was too busy playing the game, but upon playing the game with a friend and looking around a lot for the Alma Dolls I noticed it wasn't using my bezel correct resolution so I went to change it and it's not listed, but it is my default resoultion for Windows :wtf:

Can anybody lend some wise words?

It's only finding my regular resolution of 4800x900, instead of 5010x900

I just checked and bezel-compensated resolutions are supported, but in-game resolution list is a bit messy. The resolution you're looking for may be further down the list than you'd think.

Incidentally, what is your Multi-Mon system (Eyefinity/Surround/other...) ? Desktop resolution ?
:welcome

I think it was F3AR that listed my resolutions in the worst order possible, I could be forgetting that due to tiredness heh I'll go back and double-check

I'm currently running nVidia Surround @ 5010x900 for everything, I like the bezel correction, keeps the OCD happy ;)

UPDATE: Okay, so I went back into game and it's still not there

I see two things you can try.

1) Activate RGBA mode for better resolution detection

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\f.e.a.r. 3\options.cfg
Uncomment -forcergbamode and give it a try.

2) Hex-edit the config file

%APPDATA%\Day 1 Studios\FEAR3\SharedData.settings
This is where the resolution setting is stored (in hexadecimal form).

4800 (dec) is 12c0 (hex), so search the file for c0 12 (BigEndian).
5100 (dec) is 13ec (hex), so replace c0 12 with ec 13 (BigEndian).

If you have problems with this feel free to PM me your config file.

Either way please let me know how it goes, there's another thread about this but no confirmed solution yet.

Thanks for the help! Sadly, I've unplugged my other 2 monitors because whenever I switched to 1920x1080 for single screen gaming it would squish the image almost like a portrait Phone video  I'll keep this in my bookmarks bar for future reference though! :D
