Lo all.
I know there is a topic or two about bf4 multi screen, but i am trying to get more specific feedback from those running bf4 triple screen and what frame rate, resolution and settings they are getting as I cant seem to run bf4 triple screen without low frame rates even though my last 2 rigs should be able to.

So I'm running x79 mobo, intel 4960@4ghz with 2 780ti's with 16 gigs xmp ram @2200 at 5860x1080 with liquid cooling and win8.1 (definitely smoother than 7)

At 1920x1080 I can play with everything completely maxed out and frame rate is locked at 60 with no drops whatsoever and rendering distance set at 100.

At 5860x1080 with everything on low, i get 60fps, but constantly dropping to 40's with plenty of stuttering.

My old rig was the same x79 mobo, intel 3960 with 3 way 680's and was pretty much identical, pefect on single screen but frame rate drops to 40's on multi screen.
The strange thing is even if I drop my triple screen resolution to 3840 x 768 = 2949120 pixels which isn't much more than a single screen, it still gets fps drops to the 40's and stuttering.

So what are other multi screen users getting?

I am using Rampage IV Extreme, 3960x @ 4.8ghz, 16gb @ 2133, 3x7970 @ 1050/1500, 6048x1080 res. Windows 7-64

All setting on ultra MSAA off, vsync on. I mantain 60fps constantly no dips.
Vsync off I get 70-120fps depending on the map and action.

Aslo in my user.cfg file I have renderaheadlimit 2, triplebuffering 0.
You may need to mess around with your renderaheadlimit in game. I found that with vsync on I need to set it to 2, vsync off it needs to be set to 0 for my setup. I would turn on the performance overlay via in game console command then make changes to renderaheadlimit. Start with a setting of 0 and look at the performance graph. You want the green GPU graph, yellow CPU graph to follow each other and be as smooth as line as possible. The lower the lines ride on the graph the better. The graph represents frame time intervals. The GPU graph should be above the CPU line. Take note of the graph and fps and then use the console to change the renderaheadlimit and try values 0-3. Give that a shot and see if it helps you at all.

K, sorted it. My mobo like others has an additional molex connector to supply additional power to the mobo when using sli etc. I had it plugged in, but turns out there is a fault with my psu and wasn't getting 12v on that connector.

Now running on ultra settings with just oculsion turned down ssao and locked at 60fps.

Cheers for the info
