Hi guys

Im planning on buy a new GPU for a show, and I need to make a 4x1920x1080 group (eyefinity or surround) using digital signal and without any tearing!

What do you recommend ?

using a GPU with 4x Displayport Outputs and using 4 Monitors with DP input.

Hi guys, thanks a lot! great post,

I have two more questions,

What about adapters? If I want to do miniDP-DVI, And then, A cable DVI-Hdmi would work? It has to be active adapters, right ?

What about going in eyefinity group of 4x1920x1080 ? is it ok ??

thanks a lot

No adapters. Use DisplayPort native displays. Only reason to use adapters is that you have existing panels. Don't force yourself into a situation where you need adapters.

Eyefinity will do a 2x2 group, for 4k UHD. I'm planning to do that to test 4K UHD.

The thing is, this is for a show and usually they don't have dp matrices. DVI or Hdmi are more common. I think maybe there are no miniDP matrices at all..

If you're building out a rig to use with monitors you'll get onsite at the show/event, grab a handful of these.

Get some of each of the variations, and you should be good.
