So I finally finished my dream computer build. Quad 7970s, dual power supply, ivy Bridge setup.(liquid cooling next) Now to complete this awesome setup I need help in picking out the monitors. I don't want anything less than 27ins. I was considering going with the HP ZR30w, which is a 30in monitor. I am willing to go down to a 27in setup if it has better picture quality. I will be playing FPS, and suggestions are very very much appreciated. |

Do you a have maximum budget we need to work wthin? How sensitive are you to input lag (I saw some charts recently whilst checking out the q270 but can't find them right now..) |

Linus said the new BenQ GW27 series is very good since it has IPS or equivalent Panel. i dont own one, so i cant tell you the truth, just heard its quite good... |

2ms reaction time.... yeah from grey to grey! But not from Color to Color ;) they're always cheating.... btw, if you're going 30" (or 27") i'd go with 2560*1440 resolution! on your Quad7970 system you'd have enough power for that! |

Having used 24"s and 27"s and now 30"s. nothing comes close to the 30"s for immersion. If you have the budget go for the 30's Currently using DELL U3011's and they are fantastic, can't recommend them enough |
