I'm trying to get Battlefield Bad Company 2 running on 3 CRT's at 3X1280x1024 which works great apart from the HUD is not centered and so things like minimap, chat, ammo box are off the middle screen. See pictures

I asked repi from DICE about it on twitter and he said "eyefinity with 4:3 monitors is not supported correctly with UI in BC2. Eyefinity is very rare, and Eyefinity w/ 4:3 even more rare"

So does anyone know any fixes for this? maybe something like dopefishes widescreenfixer program is the only way to fix this problem if it had support?

cheers.

Yeah, anything less than 16:10 isn't supported. It kinda sucks actually.

I don't think that this is true because since the launch of MOH, then the patch for BFBC2 with Vietnam included, the default install for the frostbite engine seems to work fine on my 3 x 1280x1024 monitors setup. But they are 5:4 ratio monitors, are yours? maybe thats why you got the respose you got.

The only 4:3 monitors were the first of the lcd's at 1024x768 and some very expensive dell's at 1600x1200 pity that they are not supported though.

So said Shev..

I think when they 'centered the HUD' for triple wide, it was based off of 16:9 as a baseline. Everything's perfect in 3x16:9 but even 3x16:10 has a slight spillover onto the side monitors.

It doesn't spill into the outer monitors in Eyefinity, only in NVidia Surround. I had to use bezel comp to get all the minimap on the centre screen with my GTX580s

I haven't tried it myself, but I saw a post on [H] where someone mentioned it on his 3x16:10 setup. Are you running bezel comp? That can push the HUD into the center.

Hey anyone running into trouble with the HUD not being centered? I never remember it doing that. I usually try and play at 5250x1050 bezel corrected. And changing the pixels doesn't seem to move the map on my screen or my ammunition on my screen. Has anyone visited this rodeo, and if so where is the exit.
