Hopefully it will be "Hor+ gameplay at multi-monitor resolutions" rather than, y'know, just Eyefinity
Somehow I'm more excited about the ragdoll system, though...

I'm happy with this. I loved the last game in TH. Hopefully since it's the same engine it'll have the same issues or better, none. (You had to do a registry hack to get the last game in the right FOV). But if it's similar to SC:C We'll have an issue.

Nice to see the information coming from the lead programmer rather than a Ubi PR rep. Ubisoft's total silence re: SC Conviction's "Eyefinity only" solution still merits some concerns, IMO. I really hope that problem doesn't extend to multiple games.

Watch it be another Conviction of Mass Effect 2 debacle.

I've liked all the Prince of Persia games since the first one i played on my sweet 286/33 computer those many years ago, but the last one was an aweful abortion of a game, mostly for the "combat". It's another example of hand-holding gameplay, like Conviction and Batman:AA. So my hopes are pretty low, and it'll definitely be one of those "try before i buy" games, as with the other two game in this reply. Get - play for an hour - delete.

I dunno, i thought the formula for Sands of Time through Two Thrones was just fine. The acrobatics were fairly open-ended, and the combat was varied and fun.

..except for the silly wailing electric guitar in the one game, and turning the music off also killed the ambient sounds.

What's so hand-holding about Batman:AA?

The combat is a little too easy on anything but the hardest difficulty, but other than it being linear I don't see how it really holds your hand.

As far as I know, it is not the same engine as the 2008 Prince of Persia. Instead, they took the Assassin's Creed 2 Engine.

That could be bad then.

Yes, it supports surround gaming out of the box, plus SLI too, afa ive tested it with MSI Afterburner (GPU usage), the game runs very smooth all maxed at 5040x1050.
