Hi. I've got an ATI Sapphire 5870 and three monitors. I don,t use softh. I have no problem playing GTR2, RACe 07, rFactor, Crysis, etc., but I don't know how configure Richard Burns Rally running in three screens. Help needed.

Regards

Richard Bruns Rally on the Wiki
Surround Solution: Richard Burns Rally

.ini edit + Racer_S hack... I'll try to help you on that one.

1) Edit Richardburnsrally.ini:
XRes = your desired display width
YRes = your desired display height

2) Download RBR camhack
3) Then do the following:
Create a batch file as follows (thanks to ChrisIhao on the IRC channel for some more information on this. It has not been verified, but hopefully will be soon):

i.e in Notepad, copy these two lines in a new document, then save it as All File Types (not as Text) and name it RBR.bat :
start CamHack.exe
start RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe

The CamHack.exe must use the SSE executable.
Run this batch file to load the camera hack and start the exe.

Did it help ? Does it work ?
Can you post comparison screenshots ?

Thanks, but it doesn't work. The "Surround Solution" is a post on 2008. I think is for triple head, not for eyefinity.

What does it do? Any solution for getting a multi-mon res in a game should work fine for both Surround and Eyefinity. There is nothing specific to the Matrox hardware in the fix.

Problem solved. I had to edit the SoftTH config file -and using camhack 3.0-, and now it works fine.
Thanks.

Hi.
I'm trying this solution to get triplescreens over eyefinity in RBR.

Got the widescreen working, had managed to add an incompatible width in the .ini...

Tried the camhack & .bat as well, but the camhack tells me I'm missing a DLL, my guess is DirectX8.

Don't want to mess around with it before I know if anyone knows what's going on.

Any hints?
/Dan

Surround refers to any use of 3 monitors. So yes TripleHead / Eyefinity / SoftTH are all under the umbrella of "Surround" Just FYI.
