Eve Online has anti-cheat test in place where it checks for injected dlls, so it's difficult to get SoftTH workng right. I've seen people do it, but it requires putting the files in some non-standard places.

I can't help you with the SoftTH part myself as I don't own the game - but it's basically the same idea for every game: put the files in the same folder as the exe. If that doesn't work, look for a folder in the game files that contains DirectX related DLLs.

Also: Day of Defeat: Source or original?

I think one of your problems at the moment is that you're posting many threads on very similar subjects asking for help...be patient and you're more likely to be helped. Also, insulting us is not the way to get what you want.

I can't help you with EVE Online however, as I don't play the game. Nevertheless, a quick search on Google yielded this as the first result: LINK.
