I got a new job that involves 100% looking at a computer screen, and eyefinity happens to be very handy for this job. But looking at 3 screens is straining, so I want to turn down the brightness. Is there a way or a program that allows simultaneous tuning of all 3 monitors, and preferably with profiles as well?

Yes. You open CCC (Catalyst Control Centre) and on teh left edge, there is a tab called .. uhh.. well i cannot recall, and I'm out of town, so I do not have my desktop closeby. But CCC has a search function built-in, luckily. You can use the My Disital Flat Panels to change colors individually, or you can use Desktop Color to change all three displays at once. (while using Eyefinity, as it's seen as Windows as a single, large desktop.

Presets also contain those color settings, if you desire.

Or you can always change the settings through the displays' OSD.

Oh. if you do not have matching displays, the colors will likely not match each other very well. I suggest using 'My Digital Displays' to get them to match, then use teh Desktop Color to change your Eyefinity desktop.

Also, since you're using it for work, you may want to have a look at "Hydragrid", which lets you maximize windows to a single monitor while using Eyefinity by setting preset or custom "grids". It does other neat stuff, too.

Well, I tried that but I'm not in eyefinity. I'm simply using extended monitor mode. Is there a way around it then?

The color section of "My Digital Flat Panels" changes the individual color settings, regardless of the display setup. SO long as they're enabled, of course. Be it in EF, Cloned, or Extended.

If it still co-operate with you, I'd suggest trying a differeent driver version.

You might also be interested in F.lux - http://stereopsis.com/flux/

You may have to edit the time table a bit based on when you work, but I've found it to be a great tool.
