Quick run of the demo. Looks like multi-monitor support is native:

Menus and cutscenes are full & functional.

Hmm so what is the game all about? TH anything has my interest, looks like a new age version of marble madness or that mercury game I have on my wii.

Kinda sad how these low budget indie games are consistently coming out with full TH support and we cant get the big dogs to even give us partial TH support in the larger titles.

Heres my guess; Old dogs can't learn new tricks.

Basically the engine coders on AAA titles have been calculating the FOV the same way since they started. For most of them thats before any of us have owned a widescreen monitor. Now these new guys creating indie titles as their first games have just recently learned how to calculate the FOV, the correct way; resulting in Horizontal scaling.

That's certainly a possibility. I would also say that disinterest/laziness/carelessness are also factors. Of the games I've fixed, a few could have had near-perfect multi-monitor support at a bare minimum of effort. I mean, 1 programmer and probably not even a full days' work. What's more? These are UE3 games. For whatever reason, the effort just wasn't put in.

On topic. Have barely played MadBalls yet. It's mostly a hyper-action blast'em game with some interesting features. Check out the steam page and video.

I d/l the demo.

Played it for a bit, had an issue getting a black screen soon as I started the actual game but the menu worked fine when on the highest detail setting 5760x1200.

Turning the detail to "balanced" and then the game window showed up.

This game like many others still has a line across it even with vsync on, but thats a eyefinity thing I think.

Demo is limited but does a good job of showing you what the game is all about, if its like a $15 title or something I could see it earning its pricetag.

I dont care for the lame madballs theme, prefer say contra but the gameplay is all that really matters.

Edit: just checked the price its only a $10 game! I think I may just buy it.
