Hi; I searched all over the forums and because of DVI bandwith limitations, TH2GO doesn't support 120HZ, also SOFTTH doesn't support SLI, my question here is: - Is it possible to achive 3D effect to all 3 monitors with shutter glasses (120Hz) using two GTX295 cards that is one card connected to two 120HZ 3D Vision ready monitors and the other card connected to one 120HZ 3D Vision Ready monitor to achive triple monitor surround gaming setup with 3D support? - Or will i use 3 way sli like 3xGTX285 all connected to each 120HZ 3D Vision ready monitor? thank you for all answers in this topic. |

This is exactly what I'm trying to find out as well. I have searched for over a month now, all across the internet, and it seems no one has an answer. I wonder if anyone has ever done this. |

I don't think this has been tested by official SoftTH forum members yet, so you're not very likely to find the answer here I'm afraid... (We have a SoftTH section though, btw) ;) If I'm not mistaken, it's not that SLI is "not supported", but it won't give you any framerate boost with SoftTH. So you're better off using non-SLI'ed, single-GPU cards. Other than that, each game can behave so differently with SoftTH, that it usually demands quite a little knowledge and patience to make things work as planned - so I don't think topping that with 120 Hz refresh rates, 3DV background app and stuff is going to help. :? As for 3D Vision on Multi-mon setups, I already made my two-cent statement over here. |
