so far i'm really liking the game. at first it was a little weird but i'm really warming up to it. the way you control your squads is very nice. there are a few things that i don't like, one being i can't seem to pick up my dead teammates weapon but i can pick up the dead enemies. zooming in while aiming is on the 3 mouse button and if you hit it up or down by accident you change weapons so i had to change it to another button and all is good. all around though this is a really good game and very realistic. the cut scenes are top notch and all around feel's like i'm part of a real story without over doing it. good game, now we just need the th2g fix and it'll be great :D

Played until 2am last night, very nice balance to the game. You can let your squads take the lead or you can hold them back and try and snipe the enemy squads to weaken them and then send in your squads to mop up the left overs...

The bazooka team is a blast (hehe) to take out church tower snipers and sand bag emplacements...

Hopefully a triplewide solution will appear before I finish the game, but...it is good enough to play on a single monitor (like Mass Effect was)...

yeah, this game is surprisingly good. there is a cool twist or something going on. i haven't found out what it is but you keep getting a little more info the further you get. i'm hoping for a fix too. there is a fix for the fov to get it to 100 for the single monitor, i think it makes the game look better, but the th2g solution will be great :D

I would guess I am about half-way thru the game (on a single monitor still) and I am losing interest...

Problems:

1) Unless you have the bazooka team (which is great fun) the assault teams are pretty useless except for supressing fire. I find I end up killing about 95% of the enemies myself as my teammates must wear coke bottle glasses and they lost them a week ago ;)

2) On-your-own missions (no teammates) inside buildings etc get pretty old fast.

3) Repetitive gameplay. The tank missions are nice, the bazooka team is nice, the rest of the missions are getting repetitive...needs some variation in objectives...

Ah well, was fun while it lasted, probably moving on to Dead Space tonight!

I can't seem to get the toggletargetingmode to work on a keyboard press (only left trigger on the xbox ctrlr) any body got any ideas? This is to tell the team to move to a certain point.

I have tried these in the sumacinput.ini"

Under: [Engine.PlayerInput]
Bindings=(Name="P",Command="ToggleTargetingMode")

and under: [SumacGame.SumacPlayerInput]
Bindings=(Name="P",Command="ToggleTargetingMode",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,Chord=False)

and neither have worked :?

Hmm, had no problems (assigned to keypad 5 as I use the keypad), try with the usb controller unplugged, might be a gamepad bug...
