So has anybody thought about taking the bezels off your LCDs and making a custom screen? Is it even possible? Has anyone done it? Is it safe to take the plastic cases off the monitors? Sorry if this has been posted before.

Actually, there is an interesting thread about that in the surround screen area. Not sure if it's in the screenshots or solutions sub-forum though.
