As I cannot reply to the other thread, I have to open a new one.

I have following problem with the FOV hack:
Sometimes it's switching back to the standard FOV for a second and then again to the patched one.

Any ideas? Maybe Racer_S, could you add an update rate setting, like the CamHack for RBR.

Hmmmm .... dunno what the problem is ...

Obvious question ...
You aren't using the / and the * keys in the game are you ?

I have it set at 0.333 and no problems ...

Same setting 0.333 and * key in game.

I have this in the Mansion, esp. in narrow areas as corridors, e.g. the corridor leading to garden and maze.

Sometimes even standing on one point and only turning triggers the switching between the different FOVs.

I can't remember now how it works but are you sure that that isn't just the camera zooming because of the 3rd person view and the close proximity to walls etc.

Mine game was fine ... haven't played it for a while.

I've got exactly the same problem as blackrat - the FOV hack is working, but whenever i move the camera into a cetain position, the FOV goes back to normal, then when the camera becomes stationary again the FOV from the hack is re-applied! its virtually unplayable cos it keeps jumping between the two FOVs whenever I move the camera.

it didn't work like this in legend. I've tried using the exe of my bought game and the hatred one people mention on the other post - same behavior! I have tried switching off all the special features - shadows, water etc. same behavior. I've got it set to widescreen 16:9 as per instructions.

I'm using vista ultimate with an Nvidia 8800gtx. Blackrat, did you get it fixed?

One thing I notice is that the FOV hack doesn't work for the in-game menu screen. It only activates when the gameplay actually begins.

In fact if you turn the Aspect down really far in the FOV hack it produces 'juddering' of the menu, like the two modes are being switched between really fast.

Very frustrating I've been looking forward to this game.

Blackrat, what OS, gfx card, processor etc are you using? Maybe its an 8800gtx or a dual core thing?

Thanks for help.

Unfortuantely my PC is in repair now (connections for RAM on mainboard), so I cannot test at the moment.

My spects:
Q6600 Core 2 quad, 2.4 GHz (anyway, would be interested how to deactivate cores?)
2x 8800 GTS (Leastek, normally non-SLI mode, I have two additional CRTs still, for 3D Stereo etc.)
XP
Creative X-Fi

For me it works in the menu ...

Note I am using v1 of the game.
