Hi, Im trying to run the latest version of Matrox's Surround Gaming Utility and get an error message that there is a missing entry not supporting the 1920x480 resolution. Any ideas? :roll: |

Hello ... welcome to the WSGF ... :D With the latest SGU that res is in the config ... I'm not sure what is wrong. Are you sure you monitors can do that resolution ... it is very low ? I don't have the game installed but you should be able to set it up manually (not using the SGU) like this ... Run the game ... access the options and select your preferred video settings. Exit the game ... Right click on your MOHAA shortcut and click Properties. Then click the Find Target button. Open the "main" directory and then open the "newconfig.cfg" file with Notepad or Wordpad. Adjust the "seta r_mode" to -1. It should read: seta r_mode -1 Save and close. *** If you don't change seta r_mode to -1, then the following changes won't take effect when opening MOHAA*** Open the "configs" directory and then open "unnamedsoldier.cfg" with Notepad or Wordpad. (The file name maybe different if you create a soldier name) Find these lines ... seta r_customheight "***" seta r_customwidth "****" seta cg_fov "**" change these lines to what is shown here ... seta r_customheight "480" seta r_customwidth "1920" seta cg_fov "134" ***The seta cg_fov "134" line may not be there so you may have to add it.*** Save this file and close. Close all your windows and start MOHAA ... :D Please get back to us to let us know how you get on ... If it doesn't work maybe we could help some more ... 8) |
