just wondering..

I have my dell 2001fp 20" LCD (4:3) hooked up top the Th2g. the native resolution 1600x1200

I use to game on it and at 1024x768 and 1280x1024 it doesn't really look that good kinda blocky and blurry. I haven't really game on it for about 2 years since I got my HDTV and hooked that up as a 2nd monitor and game on that instead.

since I started uusing it for gaming via Th2g I notice the image looks pretty good even at 1024x768. and at 1280x1024 it looks as good as 1600x1200.

for some reason it seems to look better comming out of the th2g than before.

do the Th2g do any kinda of image enhancing before sending it to the monitor?

or... maybe it's just the video card that i have that improves the image.. the last card I ran game on the monitor was a x800XT ATI radeon

If you are using your newer video card to do more antialiasing or anisotropic filtering, then then should have a pretty big effect on image quality, even on an LCD-scaled image.

Do you play the same games than 2 years ago ?
Aren't you used to the (somewhat limited, though crisp) resolution of your HDTV ?
...

In any event : no, the TH2G doesn't do any filtering ;)
