Latest Patch broke the Tool. The dang patch won't also download the player vs. AI maps or the Multiplayer Maps.

Neither are your fault, man. You're awesome for patching this beast of a game to Eyefinity.

I respect you Hayden.

I don't have an Eyefinity setup, but I do use an HDTV that has overscanning issues, so I find this tool to be very helpful in that regard. I love this tool, however I have a few small gripes with it.

- Your desired resolution has to be entered manually every time.
- Atypical tab behavior.
- The resolution switches to the reference resolution before the desired resolution. When it does this, it triggers something weird with my display which I can fix by alt-tabbing and fooling around with Windows display settings and then alt-tabbing back.

But the main thing is it works, so I have decided to help out the cause by hosting this tool for the time being.

2, meaning the second, current version.

added "brute mode" - hopefully that will fix this temp reference resolution switch problem you speak of, also incorperated change made for majmpd.

Consider this one the one to download.

Awesome work!

I'm hosting this here for everyone and considering this version 3.2.

Make sure you're using the latest version, and the "brute mode" works wonders for me!

EDIT: Latest version still works after today's patch using "brute mode"!!!

Hi,

FYI, I tested with 5040x1080!
It worked nicely.

Some days after (last night), I received an email from Blizzard which informs me that my account has been banished...

I only tried it with the first solo mission... I haven't even finished it...
This was just for testing purpose!

So, I guess all the tests I've done, have been successfull:

Widescreen is working.[/*:m]

Hacks hunt from Blizzard too.[/*:m][/list:u]

Sure, I'm really disappointed... I was warned, I even tried, and now I prefer to warn you before you do the same mistake....

Cheers,

W.

If you wanna see my own results, here are they:

Nice vision, but awful to move with the mouse (interesting for testing, not for playing: I use to move the displayed map with the mouse, not the keyboard)
[/*:m]

The video sequences are truncated:
[/*:m]

The real screens (the biggest and latest one has more brightness than the 2 others):
[/*:m][/list:u]
