Well I guess I can beat single player then get my money back, buy it again later if they ever fix the issue. (they wont)

I don't know how you can play the single player with all that bloom and lens flare. I hope they don't overlook this issue if/when they fix the more obvious player marker and tool tip issues.

Single screen runs perfect with no lens flare problems. I am blinded by lens flare in multiplayer and operation guillotine is almost impossible with the lights

Just read on the bf3 forums that its confirmed to be fixed next patch for Nvidia and ATI. I also read on bf3 twitter that they will have an official fix list next week.
I would guess 2 weeks after that right after the holiday. I hope I am wrong and its sooner though as I am ready to fire it up on all screens.

Links please :)

I was hoping the last patch or two fixed the too-large glare and missing icons, but no :(

Poo.

There hasn't been a patch for a while (since Nov 4) and presumably they only focused on fixing critical bugs.. like lag/stability/installation. That being said it still crashes every 1-2 hours for me so it's not very stable. But at least I haven't seen any jet shaking in a while.

Interesting sidenote, apparently PS3/360 has a proper in-game server browser. Wonder why us PC users got the 'out of game' option?

About time! Ive spent a total of £3k on just upgrades and multi monitor setup - just for BF3 (and future better games), thats not even counting the cost of my original high-end PC before it got a case and GPU's upgrade.
Finally be able to play BF3 on 3 screens, soon...

Same here, I bought 3rd monitor and a second display adapter only to find out that it's nearly impossible to play MP without killing your mates. Whats incredible though, the game runs perfectly with all settings maxed out on 5760x1080 with two MSI N580GTX XE 3GB in SLI. Looks amazing too. :)

I just wish this problem gets fixed soon so I can play MP. Can anybody confirm that the fix is coming in the next patch? I cant seem to find any news about that, only the lens flare and weapon nerfs news.

Guess I'll have to play something else for this weekend, it's a bummer though since I invested lots of time and money for this.

Anyone here running on 2 or more 6950's give a little insight,. im running 3x6950's and Eyefinity at 5760x1080 and the game runs like utter crap, i change it to 1 card and it runs better.
I had a single 5870 running 5760x1080 better.. Im sure when its working correctly it'll run awesomely... any ideas anyone?

Cheers.

Me... I run dual 6950 2GB in crossfire. Gaming res is 5040x1050 (1680 x 3). I didn't bother to run single screen, as I know it'll likely run butter smooth. Eyefinity resolution is a different story. I set up majority of the visual details to Medium to keep the framerate up. There's just too much going on to render 3 screens worth to keep a playable framerate up. Once the texture details hit High or Ultra, the framerate takes a major nosedive. Others see some performance hit if I bump it up a notch. So I opted to leave most of the settings like that for now.

It's weird that with triple 6950 that it would not perform as expected. Given the numbers, you should be able to run high or ultra... in theory...
