Yeah I think I am going to go back to one screen, it looks great on 3 screens but the zoom issues are what is breaking it.

Also @ FOV 142 things look so far away, I do not recall these issues on other games when you increase the FOV where it makes things suddenly so far away from you. Its a major handicap. I tried to play online today in TH mode and it was a nightmare.

I think I will tweak my double binding for FOV on shift/w key for a single screen. Maybe FOV 105 for forward but 90ish for shift because even @ 105 when you run you get a pretty significant distortion and it zooms out further.

just wonderng, since the widescreen isnt quite working right now..

anyone figured out how to play this game in a window? i hate to turn off both left and right monitors or see all 3 monitors as clones - really bugs my eyes out.

still have faith for a widescreen fix tho, fingers crossed

Fix is a C+, just don't try to zoom in at close range IMO.

I change my desktop to span instead of SLD and my side monitors will just show my desktop or what ever is on those monitors rather than clone the game.

I may usually open a website that tells me what the red text means on rare weapons so I have a cheat sheet up next to the game.

Id say this game is 100% widescreen ok, but not TH ok.

Edit: Nevermind

To answer below question, yeah I've been playing the game, but only on a 16:9 display. I read some posts on the official Borderlands forums where people were making binds with FOV changes and thought it could help here. The idea was to make it so you'd normally play in third person, but when zoomed in it would change to first person, specifically so that guns with iron sight could be aimed with. The guy who requested the binding wanted the FOV to change with the zoom as well and when I tested the binding it seemed like the FOV was changing with the zoom. Well I guess it was, but not because of anything I did on the binding. Oh well, disinformation is contagious on the internet... :oops:

Also I think you all were mentioning the menus being zoomed in or something. You could use fov changes for that as well, I'd make different buttons for each menu(skill tree, inventory, etc.) then make them toggle the FOV. There's some examples of toggles in that thread I linked to.

Have you actually played the game? The "in-game" menus (inventory, skills, etc) are fine, the zoom is only on the menu you get when you press ESC.

And changing FOV doesn't work when zoomed in with a weapon, so I'm not sure what you're all there either.. unless you mean change the FOV so it looks like it's zoomed, well that's nice but it doesn't raise the accuracy of your weapon or give you a scope.

First back up "WillowInput.ini".

Then put this in "WillowInput.ini":

for th2go:

"Bindings=(Name="H",Command="advancedbutton bContextUse | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="D",Command="StrafeLeft | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="G",Command="StrafeRight | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="N",Command="advancedbutton bGrenade | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="L",Command="ShowStatusMenu_Logs | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="A",Command="advancedbutton bAdvancedButtonAux1 | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="M",Command="ShowMap | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="I",Command="ShowStatusMenu_Inventory | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="B",Command="advancedbutton bAdvancedButtonAux6 | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 120",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)"

this work very well if you just dont touch the strafe keys when sprinting.
IT is hard though to drive vehichles in that wide format. but that isnt related to the acctual FOV.

"edit"( when sprinting in multiplayer, you only have to press the sprint key once and then release it as long you don't release the move forward key, and when sprinting (only holding down forward key), hit the strafe left key very shortly and then you have the same FOV as when not sprinting).

In multiplayer, its better to run on a single monitor because the fovsettings work differently in multiplayer. (it is playable with th2go, if you get used to a low FOV when sprinting and driving a car).

FOV bindingd for multiplayer games:

"Bindings=(Name="H",Command="advancedbutton bContextUse | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="D",Command="StrafeLeft | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="G",Command="StrafeRight | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="N",Command="advancedbutton bGrenade | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="L",Command="ShowStatusMenu_Logs | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="A",Command="advancedbutton bAdvancedButtonAux1 | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="M",Command="ShowMap | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)
Bindings=(Name="I",Command="ShowStatusMenu_Inventory | Axis aGas Speed=+1.0 | FOV 110",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False,LeftTrigger=False,RightTrigger=False,bIgnoreCtrl=False,bIgno reShift=False,bIgnoreAlt=False)"

Dont replace any old bindings, just add these directly after the previous last binding.

And before you copy this, remember that you have to edit my bindings to match your control layout.

after your done. write protect the file.

Forgot to explain my controls:

R: forward
F: backward
D: strafe left
G: strafe right
B: sprint
T: reload
H: use object
A: crouch
N: trow grenade

To clearyfie: when using bindings for th2go, when hitting strafe while sprinting will invert the screen when playing single player game. And in multiplayer game it will make the sprinting fov better.

Just tested this solution for UT3 and it didn't work.
