All those malware authors bend over backwards figuring ways to trick people into clicking a .exe. These 'scene groups' supply you with a .exe modified who knows how and most run it without blinking an eyelid. The mind boggles. |

+1, need an updated hack for v1.02 !!! Currently enabling the tool in game -> crash to desktop (it is then enabled when I launch the game again), and there's some strange vertical trembling of the whole image. :( |

Hey... I've updated the tool for the 1.2 patch... v 1, 0, 2, 86610 to be specific. You can grab it here: http://dl.tocaedit.com/acfov3.zip I tried to add in a FOV slider, but I just crashed the game again and I must get some sleep. Enjoy! |

Racer_S... You rule sir. Thanks a lot :) For some reason my Multisampling setting was back to 1, not sure it has sth to do with the fov hack. I set it back to 3 and everything works just the same. Now I have something serious to bench my new graphics cards ! |

Hey all, Im having a slight problem with getting this game to work I can play 5040X1050, but it only put about 1 inch of game screen on each side monitor When i use the fovhack, and load the game, it keeps switching from how i described above, to full 3 screen display ... And does it every few seconds Any ideas? Im using SoftTH btw EDIT - I have 1.2 patch on assassins creed (the problem happened with a fresh install, so i thought id try update to 1.2 and use the new hack, but does the same problem) I also have a WolfKing keyboard ... it doesnt have a numpad ... Might be a good idea to allow the choosing of keys to enable the program ect ... Im having to use a keyboard extender program to change my keys around lol |

AC is 16:9 anamorphic. So when you launch the game with the fov hack, it first uses the max 16:9 res available on your display : 1867x1050 or sth, which requires as you say only one inch of each side panel. Now when you strike the Numpad * key to Enable the fov hack, the game uses your three displays. Press the Numpad / and you're back to "1680x1050 and a couple inches" - well that's what should normally happen anyway. Your problem is probably related to your using a "keyboard extender program", what is it and how do you use it ? I'm sure Racer_S will look into it and allow the use of other keys for his nice hack when he reads your feedback ;) |
