Fixed what issue? the mini map and ammo? Is it still at the far edge of the screen? And mine was all medium anyway, but I could try low I guess

Sorry Mach,
I was talking about the textures hopping up and down on the screen and the very low framerates.

Thanks

Tried Caspian Border map last night. The ground was transparent in some areas with flickering.

[quote]i'm getting about 30 to 40 on ultra.
60fps with slight drops on low,

But it feels a littlle choppy even with the nvidia beta drivers. and its only using about 50% of my cards on low or medium, but its using all my vram, even on low when using surround.
Looks like the game and drivers still need more optimization.
I had the same issue with the game only using 50%. I couldn't fix it but I restarted my rig and BF3 started using 100% again.

I also have the same issue with no Mini-map or ammo count. I kinda got used to it lol. I started getting a feel for how many bullets I had left but I did severely miss/need my mini-map. I hope someone find a fix.

I didn't even realize there was supposed to be a mini map! I've only had a chance to play for about 30 minutes so I was more focused on staying alive and learning the level but I guess a mini map would be useful.

I'm going to take a look at VRAM usage tonight running 6100x1080 on my SLI 580 3GB cards. The game defaulted everything to ultra and it ran fairly smoothly, but since the options were all grayed out I thought we couldn't tweak any of the settings. Will try some combinations of settings tonight too.

here its running on 5760x1080, everything on high with 40 FPS (outside) - 60 FPS (metro). Switching shadows to medium and turning off ambient occlusion gives 50-70 FPS. not so bad.

Something to keep in mind.

Some settings (no sure which) will not take effect until the map is restarted, so you can be switching graphics options and it isn't doing anything until the next round (or you exit/re-enter the game)

Game doesn't deal well with 3 GPU's right now.

Only get 20-30 FPS in surround and mouse lag like mad. Seen a few other reports of 3 and 4 way SLI not doing so well, so hopefully they're on it.

Single screen performance is still very good with 3way, but not much better than single-card.

Im getting 45 - 70 FPS in surround, 3-way SLI, at 5040x1050, ultra settings, no mouse lag. Latest beta drivers.

I tried to get the beta to work with SoftTH last night and it didnt work.

I got the game loaded on the main screen (far left) but in the video settings, there was no option to select 16:9, which i typically have to choose, and the custom resolution was not an option.

anyone get it working?
